This issue can be resolved by increasing the memory upload limit of your server in php.ini file, but in NextGEN Gallery plugin don’t worry about it we just change a line of code.</div>

<li style="list-style-position: outside; margin-bottom: 20px;">In your website/wordpress directory open <em style="line-height: inherit;">/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/lib/gd.thumbnail.inc.php</em> with your favourite text editor (e.g. notepad++, Dreamweaver, etc.)</li>
<li style="list-style-position: outside; margin-bottom: 20px;">On line #164 under under <em style="line-height: inherit;">// increase memory-limit if possible, GD needs this for large images</em>, un-comment or remove the “//” before @ini_set(‘memory_limit’, ’128M’);</li>

<li style="list-style-position: outside; margin-bottom: 20px;">Delete image/s that failed to upload then re-upload it using NextGen Gallery Plugin</li>
